Client Access :: Upload and Download Files

If you have several files or a giant file over 5MB to send or retrieve from me, use this applet instead of email. FTP applet will apear in a java enabled browser. Please accept the certificate that is presented. Enter the provided hostname along with your valid username to connect. You will be prompted for the password.

You can then choose your files from the appropriate directory - left side is your computer's files; right side shows files on my server - and use the arrows to transfer files.

TIP: Ctrl + click to select more than one file out of order.

If the applet does not start up please click here

There are many other FTP "clients", or software, that will do the exact same thing, but are better integrated into your own operating system. The difference is that you will have to download and install these programs on your hard drive. Here are my recommendations:

FireFTP plugs into the Firefox web browser for Windows, Mac OSX, and Linux. It shows up under the Tools menu after you install it.

FileZilla is a popular FTP client for Windows and Vista that installs on your hard drive.

Cyberduck is for Mac OS X.
